What an incredible summer so far!

Hello! We have not written for quite some time and for that we apologize. We have had a busy summer. Abel Odem from SC came out for a week and helped guide a couple of trips. Here are some of the organizations we’ve done free trips for this summer:

Tamarack Center (at-risk youth)
Youth for Christ (street kids)
Cup of Cool Water (street kids)

The big event on the horizon is Mountain Bible School. Right now we have 4 kids signed up for the 9th-13th of August. Two of the kids are adopted and their parents paid. The other 2 are brothers from Youth for Christ, one of whom is sponsored by a donor. We are praying that God will provide a donor for the other brother. We will be backpacking for 5 days and 4 nights. Please pray that the Lord will keep us safe and that he will use the Peak7 guides to further his Kingdom.

Our IRS application has been sent in and we will hear from them within 120 days. Brady worked long and hard on it so if you see him in the near future tell him great job.

We also took one of our big donors, Thriva, rafting this past weekend on the White Salmon. It was a great trip on a class IV-V run. The picture above is on Husum Falls (class V). It was amazing to see a whole raft disappear completely under water (temporarily!)

Thank you for all your prayers and support:
