Peak7 Adventures Ascent is a 5-day backcountry wilderness trip aimed at providing both an outdoor experience and spiritual growth.

We provide need based scholarships to more than 75% of participants.

Most groups are between 6-8 participants who are supervised by at least 3 guides. All girl groups are lead by female guides and all guys groups are lead by male guides.

*Any changes to trip itineraries must be finalized 60 days prior to departure date in order to be refuned committed trip price.

The Wilderness Experience

As we backpack through some of the most beautiful wilderness in America, participants will learn about how to safely enjoy God's creation while maintaining its beauty. We train participants on wilderness navigation, Leave No Trace, and the 10 Essentials. Our experienced guides lead groups of 8-10 into remote settings while encouraging team unity and a responsible attitude toward nature.

The Spiritual Experience

The wilderness is a powerful place to meet God. It exposes us to our own frailty and forces us to decide where we place our ultimate trust. Through Ascent, we look at God's plan for creation with a wide-angle lens, seeing the entire Bible as an epic story with God as the protagonist.

From the beginning of time, God's purposes are being accomplished leading up to a triumphal victory that has been guaranteed to us by Jesus' death and resurrection. Each day will include prayer, Biblical instruction, times to share our own stories, and moments for solitude and reflection.
